This was one of the ideas for the Ojo al pez exhibition. The room would resemble a hospital, with cold lighting and white floor tiles. In it, there would be these huge metal and glass tubes full of liquid, which we called ‘test tubes’, containing dead fish caught in nets, speared dolphins, and such. Walls would be adorned with X-rays of different kinds of sea creatures. Facts and figures would be displayed right on the tubes. This concept was highly aesthetic, seeking to mix the contradictory sensations of aseptic and revolting.
